The Republican National Committee today released an internal review today it hopes will reboot the GOP.
The review details where the party went wrong in the November election and how to turn it around for 20-16.
RNC chairman Reince Priebus detailed the results at the National Press club in Washington.
"When Republicans lost in November it was a wake up call and in response I initiated most public, most comprehensive post-election review in history of any national party. We wanted assessment that was frank thorough and transparent. To get a fresh start, we had to be honest with ourselves and with our voters" said Prince Reibus RNC Chairman.
That fresh start includes changing the Republicans' image as the party of the rich.
The more than two hundred recommendations in the report also include:
Fewer debates; A shortened primary season; Better use of technology; And greater outreach to young people and minorities.
The RNC plans to spend ten million dollars courting minority voters coast-to-coast.
