Glenwood Medical Center Joins Vantage Provider Network

Good news for folks with Vantage Health Plan, they now have more options when it comes to medical care.
Tuesday morning officials announced Glenwood Regional Medical Center and Ouachita Community Hospital (OCH) are joining the Vantage Provider Network -- effective March 15. Officials signed the official partnership at the press conference.
Under the terms of contract, both hospitals will give a full range of outpatient, inpatient and surgical services to Vantage's HMO, Freedom, High Deductible and Medicare adavantage members.
"We are proud and excited to add Glendwood Regional Medical Center and Ouachita Community Hospital to our provider network," said Dr. Gary Jones, CEO of Vantage Health Plan. "This new partnership helps ensure that we can expand our ability to provide accesss to high quality, cost-effective health to our members in Ouachita Parish and Northeast Louisiana. We feel this is yet another demonstration as to how Vantage Health Plan Strives to be responsive to it's member's needs."
Officials with the Monroe-based insurance company and with Glenwood say this partnership has been a long time coming.
"The ability to increase choices for health care is vital for the residents of our community," said Ron Elder, CEO of Glenwood Regional Medical Center. "We are looking forward to being able to offer Vantage members access to our full range of high quality healthcare services close to where they live and work."
