Louisiana Senator David Vitter says he's offered up an amendment that would require people to show a photo ID before voting.

Here's Senator Vitter's statement from his Facebook page:

"Photo IDs are required almost every day, for things from driving to getting on a plane. Our right to vote should be among those. To fight election fraud and make sure our votes aren't devalued, I've offered an amendment to the Senate budget that would require everyone to use a photo ID to vote."

Hey Dave; do you need a photo I.D. to rent a hooker?
