Drug Trafficking Suspects Face Judge in South Arkansas

53-year-old Steven Atkinson, 36-year-old Michael Hunter, 48-year-old Sammy Otwell, 21-year-old Ricardo Walker, 26-year-old Jarrod Wilson, 36-year-old Johnny Carter, 29-year-old Sammy Cogbill and John David Woodard all faced a judge in Magnolia on drug charges in connection with drug trafficking methamphetamine in Waldo, Magnolia, and Texas.\
2 of the suspects were released on $25,000 bond and house arrest while the others remain in the Columbia County Jail on bond.
The suspects are a part of a year long investigation into a drug operation that police are nicknaming "Operation Crystal Clear."
The suspects will be back in court on April 4th.
