Lincoln Parish is alive with dead folks this Halloween. Starting at Louisiana Tech University. Mark Guinn, a professor of design/movement said, “They say the original coordinator of theatre still haunts the Howard Center for the Performing Arts."
He continued, “The rumor is that if you go through the auditorium and take time to put all the seats up that by the time you get back she will have chosen the seat to sit in, following you about the space." And one employee got his fair share of the theatre ghost...
Guinn said, “He said if theres a spirit in here come out, come out, let us know that youre here...in the middle of that all the lights went out. I kid you not at that very instant-boom!"
Also in Ruston, a very haunted place above the old Stows bar. It was once a confederate hospital. People say they heard dragging, moaning, and yelling.
Tanya Rushing, visited Stow’s several times, she said, “You can hear things moving around upstairs. Ive even had friends that have heard equipment…its kind of creepy when youre there hanging out and your hear these things above you all of a sudden and you know theres no one up there."
In Monroe., The Maser Museum of Art even had ghost hunters come check out their weird happenings. And in union parish, NBC 10s Chris Synder investigated the paranormal. Snyder said, “From moving forks, to hearing voices like a baby crying and a deep voice that says get out of my factory, to rapping on the windows it all started happening back in 1940 after a former owner of the building, Duke Selig, committed suicide here in the basement."
Well let you be the judge...
