Monroe City School Employees To Get Money

There's great news for Monroe City School employees. They are finally getting the extra money they were promised months ago. In a special meeting tonight, the Monroe City School Board approved the money. Teachers will get a $1,000 and other employees will get $700. The money will come from the general fund balance.

After months of debate, the board president says she's just happy employees are finally getting the check they deserve. Teachers and other employees that attended tonight's special meeting were all excited about the positive vote and their extra money on the way.
