BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal says he wants to extend tax credit programs that have helped expand the movie, video game and music industries in Louisiana.
Some of the tax credits would expire this year. The governor
said Monday he'll back legislation this spring that would keep the credits in
effect and maintain an incentive for those industries to work in
Extension of the tax credits would mean a drop of $8 million
in state revenue, which Jindal said will be accounted for in his budget plans.
