Monroe Woman Accused of Shooting Husband

A Monroe woman is accused of shooting her husband while they were arguing.

Police arrested 53-year-old Alice Harris just after 5 o'clock this morning. She is accused of pulling out a .44-magnum handgun and shooting her husband in his left bicep. She told officers -- she didn't mean to shoot him, she just wanted to scare him.

Harris is charged with aggravated battery.
