Kentuka Flintroy and Justin Cooper are the men of the hour. They jumped into a burning building to save a little girls life and today the city of Monroe honored their heroic acts. The two heroes received a citizens valor award. The men still don't consider themselves heroes, but they are grateful for being honored.

Kentuka Flintroy said, "It feels good getting an award from the chief from the fire department and the mayor, it feels real good. I know it doesn't happen everyday."

Justin Cooper said, "I'm kind of still speechless about it, I really don't really know that because I was able to save a little girls life."

Cooper and Flintroy say the ceremony was one of their greatest days. They were excited to get the award but say the biggest prize was seeing the little girl they saved.
