Delhi Police Supervisor Arrested

The Delhi Police Chief's right hand woman turned herself in -- after an undercover investigation. The Franklin Parish Sheriff's Department says the supervisor had been dealing prescription pills.

Delhi Police Chief Rufus carter says he's seen it all in his past 30 years of law enforcement. But tonight he tells NBC 10 News everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Kimberly Ridley is seen wearing her Delhi Police Department uniform in her mug shot. The Franklin Parish Sheriff's Department has charged the supervisor with distributing prescription pills.

Chief Carter says he's been accused of a lot of things in his lifetime and was found innocent. He says he wants to give Kimberly Ridley the same benefit of the doubt.

The Chief believes there is a lot more to this story, that this may have all been a misunderstanding.
