If you travel Louisville Ave in Monroe, you've probably noticed a man picketing a store. Behind him a sign refers to him in not-so positive terms. What is playing out is a battle, fought on one of Monroe's busiest streets.

It is all over John Hill, a highly decorated war veteran who says he was violated as a customer. He is battling a shop that is telling the world he is an idiot and it is spelled out on a sign for everyone to see. Hill says he brought his computer to Advanced Computer Services for minor repairs on the recommendation of his last computer repair man. That is where he says he got his computer back, not working like it should.

"When I brought it back the guy didn't wanna fix it,” Hill complained. He talked to me like I was a child and told me he was a bail bondsman an he'll call the police and have me locked up if I didn't leave his store."

Hill says he is most disturbed by the sign the store put up calling him an idiot who wants something for free. When asked about the word, store owner Wayne Rayburn said after all the things Hill said he thought it's justified. He says that language is just his brand of marketing. Hill says picketing is his brand of standing up for himself.
