New Orleans transit authorities say a 17-year-old mother poured milk over the bus driver who had told her to fold up her baby stroller, then stabbed the driver in the chest.

Regional Transit Authority bus driver Hanella Johnson got out of the hospital Wednesday, a day after she was stabbed. Criminal District Court records show that 17-year-old Darrion Scott is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond after being booked with aggravated battery.

Authorities say the attack was caught on bus surveillance cameras as well as being witnessed by passengers. RTA spokeswoman Rosalind Blanco Cook says that attacks on bus drivers are rare.
