Father Charged with Shaking Baby to Death

Police say 21 year old Chase Cascio admitted to shaking his baby out frustration with his wife. In fact, it was Cascio who made the 911 call that led to his arrest. Now he is charged with second degree murder. Cascio's 2 month old son was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon. Police say doctors found a lot of blood around the infant's brain. They also say doctors found older injuries that included broken ribs.

Neighbor, Robert Davis was at home with his own child when he heard the emergency vehicles outside. He says he ran out to see what the commotion was and saw paramedics going into another neighbor’s house. He says that is where he headed.

"I peeked around the door like that and seen the little baby laying down there on the John's couch all sprawled out.,” Davis said. “The EMT over there giving the baby CPR."

Investigators say Cascio admitted shaking the baby while arguing with his wife because the child wouldn't stop crying. The child died from his injuries.
