LWC owner Jeff Pruett entered a not guilty plea today.
But customers tell Nbc 10 News today that allegations Pruett discharged raw sewage in neighborhoods is true -- because they lived through it.
But they say raw sewage is just part of an overwhelming problem -- disgusting and unsafe water.
Nbc 10 traveled today to one of the neighborhoods where investigators say Pruett consistently broke the law -- polluting the area for 4 years. NBC 10 has been doing stories on him for years...and have shared with you the horrors of dozens of disgruntled customers.
Today they say Pruett's federal charges, give them hope that changes could be on the way. Aaron Balsamo says raw sewage and toilet paper filled his front yard two years ago. It's one of the spots cited in the federal indictment for sewage dumping. Events like these are why LWC and its owner Jeff Pruett are facing federal criminal charges.
EPA investigators say violations like what happened to the Balsamos had gone on for as long at 4 years in different neighborhoods, up until last year.
