The heavy equipment is hard at work on expanding the new v-vehicle plant. The engines are fired up and now you can fire up your search engine. The company's website, vvehiclelouisianajobs.com launched Thursday. If you're interested in working for the company you need to register. Company officials say it's the best way to get the most up to date information.
Eric Stoor is the Assembly Operations Manager for V-Vehicle and he said, "We encourage them to go to the site, sign up and as we know and as the business develops, they'll get e-mails as soon as we know."
The best part is the website is easy to use. All you have to do is long on, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter your e-mail address. Once you do, you're on the list. Company officials say they already have an idea of some of the first jobs that will become available.
Stoor said, "We'll be looking for people to help build the cars, we can talk about engineers, we can talk about anybody involved in the production process of building a fantastic car."
And if you get a job interview, what kind of person are they looking for?
Stoor said, "Enthusiasm and attitude and excitement is number one. We're looking for somebody who's looking to learn new things and is trainable, technical background helps."
So if you fit that description, fire up your computer and click away.
