This is what comes to Vanlam Nguyen mind when you mention black Friday.
Vanlam Nguyen said, "All you hear as soon as the doors open is the noise of the wheels on our carts. It is one whole unison noise that comes rushing through the door of our electronic department."
The day after Thanksgiving shopping extravaganza boasts the best deals of the year. Crowds flock to electronics and department stores for the hottest gadgets and this year is no different.
Rachel Fuller said, "Everyone is in electronics right now and kids are into hand held games. Nobody goes outside and plays games anymore. this is small and you can do a lot of things with it."
Best Buy Manager Rachel Fuller is talking about the hand held Nintendo DSI. Fuller says the Nintendo, GPS systems and flat screen TV's are the most sought after items this year. So how will she control mobs of shoppers rushing to get these items for the low?
Fuller said,"Once the customers get in here and whatever looking for, not only will they have the balloons, they're going to have a map matching the colors of the balloons."
Fuller says stores must remain organized and calm to handle the chaos that is black Friday. One item that has already started a craze is the Zhu Zhu hamster. The $ 8 toy that scoots around and makes animal-like noises is already sold out at stores across the country and going for hundreds of dollars online. Each Toys R Us store across the country will have 100 Zhu Zhu hamsters at midnight Friday morning. But not all stores are willing to share what deals shoppers can expect black Friday. Some say, it's top secret.
Nguyen said, "How else are we going to get you guys in here!"
