Water Supervisor in Ferriday Not Allowed at Plant

This is what the inside of the Ferriday water plant looks like. Just a few months ago the back wash pump was broken, water was leaking all over the floor and the above ground storage tank had collapsed. Superintendent Greg Griggs was the guy in charge of trying to fix all the problems and making sure the plant runs, even without the money to make major repairs. But, now he's out of a job.
Griggs said, "He sent the police to take the keys, he wanted the gas card and basically the keys for everything."
So the question now is who's going to run the plant?
"Griggs says he's the most certified person to run the water treatment plant, in fact, we got a hold of some of the documents of certification but the Louisiana a Department of Health and Hospitals and this one is for water treatment, there's one for water production and one for water distribution. But, now that his authority has been stripped away, Griggs says uncertified employees are running Ferriday's water system."
Even though Griggs has been locked out of the plant, employees are still calling him for help.
Griggs said, "He called me this morning he asked me about the chlorine, I advised him, my mama lives in this town, my sister, they all live in this town, like I said, I advised him."
Why would mayor Glen McGlothlin lock out the employee certified to run the place? Griggs says he doesn't believe he's getting a straight answer.
Griggs said, " He said I disrespected him," How? "He never said why."
We also tried talking to the mayor, but he said he had no comment. So for now there's no answer on who's running the plant while Griggs is locked out.
