It was an unfamiliar sight to Guy Barr.
Neighbor Guy Barr said, "I heard the sirens, I saw the police car."
But he didn't hear the gun shots police say someone fired inside this home on Bramble Avenue.
Investigators say a house sitter called police around 10:45 Tuesday morning when she heard gun fire.
Major Don Bartley "What we discovered was the bodies of an elderly male and an elderly female in the back bedroom were both deceased."
Police say they found the body of 88 year old Edgar Chapman on the floor, his wife 77 year old Agnes Chapman in the bed, and a handgun lying nearby. Police say they aren't aware of any domestic problems in the home. Neighbors say the two were a loving couple, but they did have health problems.
Barr said, "They was a great couple, they'd do anything for you and we enjoyed living here with them."
Police say there are no signs that anyone broke into the home.
Barr said,"Its a sad loss, we will miss them."
