Meteorologist
Kayleigh Klaustermeier joined NBC10/Fox14's Weather Team in May 2009. You can
watch her on NBC-10 News Today beginning at 5AM and FOX14 Your Morning New at
7AM.
Kayleigh
earned her Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Broadcasting Meteorology
from Mississippi State University in 2009. She also earned a Minor in
Communication from MSU.
During her
time at Mississippi State, Kayleigh participated in local storm chases and in
forecast competitions. In summer 2008, she interned at ABC 3340 in Birmingham,
AL. Kayleigh received her first on-air opportunity as a fill-in meteorologist
at WAPT in Jackson, MS.
Kayleigh was
born and raised in Alabama. Some of her most memorable weather events are the
Blizzard of 1993 and an F5 tornado in 1998.
Kayleigh is
a member of the National Weather Association. In her spare time she enjoys
cheering on her MSU Bulldogs and running. She loves to spend time with friends,
family, and her dog Bow Echo.
