Delhi Man Found Making Meth in a Bean Field

A Delhi man is accused of attempting to make meth in a bean field. Sheriff’s deputies say 53-year-old William Mooney was in a field off Highway 579 in Waverly cooking meth. Authorities say they were tipped off that he was out there. Deputies say when they arrived Mooney had not gotten very far along with his drug recipe. He is charged with attempting to make meth.
