Church Reaching Out to Community With Block Party

First Baptist Church is making a big difference in the Riverbend neighborhood.
The church invited neighbors on Ludwig Street and nearby areas for an afternoon of games, fun, and a Fourth of July block party.
First Baptist Church adopted this block on Ludwig Street, which means they lend a helping hand to neighbors by mowing the grass, improving the look of the neighborhood, and cleaning up lots so kids have a safe place to play.
About 100 people were expected to show up for the block party.
