Car Slams Into Train in West Monroe

Ouachita Parish authorities are on the scene of an accident
involving a car and a train in
Authorities say the driver of a silver car slammed into the side of a train after 9 p.m. Sunday night.
Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Officials say the wreck happened
on Coleman at
Witnesses say the car slid over 100 feet and hit the railcar at a high rate of speed.
Officials are investigating the cause of the accident. The driver’s injuries are unknown.
