Bond Hearing Scheduled for Rape Suspect

    A bond hearing has been scheduled later this week for a suspect, accused of raping and kidnapping a Monroe woman. Bond has been revoked for Anthony Cascio, who is accused of drugging, raping and kidnapping a 21 year old woman.
   
    Monroe police say Cascio slipped a date rape drug in the woman's drink at Top Gun night club in Monroe, Saturday night. Investigators believe he took the woman back to his house, where police say Cascio and Kody Redding raped her.
   
    Both men are charged with simple rape. Cascio is also charged with kidnapping. In 2008, Cascio was convicted of aggravated battery and hate crimes for the stabbing of a homeless man.
