Latest Road Closures in Ouachita Parish

According to a press release from the Gilchrist Construction Company, the following lane closures will affect Ouachita Parish. These closures will allow vehicles 16-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Emergency vehicles have access to the area.
Eastbound I-20 in West Monroe at Stella/Mill Exit to US 165 Interchange in Monroe will experience lane closure from Friday, October 22, 2010 through Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the following times:
8:00 pm Friday to 10:00 am Saturday
7:00 pm Saturday to Noon Sunday
The Stella/Mill Entrance Ramps, S. 5th Street Entrance Ramp, Business US 165 Entrance Ramp, and Texas Ave/N. 18th Street Interchange, and US 165 Interchange at I-20 Eastbound will be closed during scheduled construction times.

Westbound I-20 in Monroe from Garrett Road (Exit 120) to the Civic Center Exit (117C) will experience outside travel lane closures from Sunday, October 24, 2010 to Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the following times:
7:00 pm Sunday to 7:00 am Monday
7:00 pm Monday to 7:00 am Tuesday
7:00 pm Tuesday to 7:00 am Wednesday
7:00 pm Wednesday to 7:00 am Thursday
The Garrett Road Interchange, US 165 Interchange, and the Texas Ave/N. 18th Street Interchange at I-20 Westbound will be closed during scheduled construction times.
Crews will be installing borrow material along the roadway shoulders, patching shoulders with asphaltic concrete, and saw cutting and patching full depth PCCP patches.
