A “no bond” hearing is scheduled tomorrow, for one of the young men who is accused of raping and kidnapping a Monroe woman.

Bond has been revoked for Anthony Cascio, who’s accused of drugging, kidnapping, and raping a 21-year-old woman, whom he met at Top Gun nightclub in the north side on October 9.

The district attorney’s office is fighting to hold Cascio behind bars without bond, since officials believe he’s a danger to the public.

Two hearings are scheduled to take place on Tuesday: a no bond hearing and a probation revocation hearing.

Monroe police say Cascio, along with Kody Redding, slipped the date-rape drug in the woman’s drink at Top Gun, and took the woman back to Cascio’s home on Glenmar Avenue without her consent, and violently raped her.

In 2008, Cascio was convicted of aggravated battery and hate crimes in the stabbing of a homeless man.
