In less than 24 hours, ULM will have a new president. The selection is down to three candidates, and who is tops on the list depends on who you ask. NBC 10 News hit the campus to talk to students about who they think should be the next leader of the university.

In the running is Nick Bruno, the financial director for the University of Louisiana System. Also, Peter Fos, from the University of Texas at Tyler as well as Thomas Moore, from Winthrop University in South Carolina.

Even though community leaders and university alum have voiced their opinions, many of the candidates are turning to Facebook to get support from students.

"It should be someone that would probably represent us better not Monroe city or community but the students at ULM," says ULM student Amit Rhakarnikar.

On Wednesday, Monroe Mayor Jamie mayo said he supported Nick Bruno for the position.

The Louisiana board of supervisors is expected to make a final decision Friday in Baton Rouge.
