Jindal & Barbour Campaign in Iowa

Governors Bobby Jindal (LA) and Haley Barbour (MS) were in Iowa yesterday campaigning for the GOP. They are trying to rally support for Terry Branstad. You can check out the video over to the left.

Branstad is trying to regain a seat that he held for 16 years, previously. He's facing democratic incumbent Chad Culver.. and the latest numbers lean in the GOP's favor.

According to polls of likely voters taken over the last year, Branstad holds a wide lead against his Democratic rival.

And while the Des Moines Tea Party says they do not officially support candidates, on a scorecard released earlier this year, they gave Branstad a "No" rating, while giving his republican  primary rival Bob Vander Plaats a "Yes."
