FBI Arrests Wanted Kidnapper in Mississippi

    FBI Agents have captured a man wanted for kidnapping in Gulfport, Mississippi.  Senior FBI Agent Robert King said Thomas Steven Sanders, 53, was arrested at the Flying J Truck Stop in Gulfport at around 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

    The authorities received a tip earlier this week. King said someone recognized Sanders at the truck stop and called the authorities. Sanders was wanted for the kidnapping Lexis Kaye Roberts, 12, whose remains were found in Catahoula Parish, back in October.

    Sanders is being held at a local jail in Harris County, Mississippi. He will be handed over to Louisiana authorities and transported to the federal magistrate on kidnapping charges.
