There is good news for the nearly 40 workers at the destroyed D&D Cleaners ---they will all get to keep their jobs.
Owners say the location will be "bigger and better" once clean up is done. The D&D Cleaners on Washington Street have set up a temporary trailer where customers can drop clothes off. A cleaners out of Winnsboro has offered D&D the use of their plant at night. Employees will take the clothes to Winnsboro to be cleaned then return them to customers in Monroe. Owners say it will be business as usual Thursday morning for customers and employees.
