Manhunt for West Monroe Shooting Suspect

A manhunt in Louisiana and Arkansas is underway tonight ...
Authorities are looking for Steven Lane Salsbury Jr. -- Police say he's armed with an assault rifle.
Authorities are looking for Salsbury, Jr. in connection with the shooting death of man in the parking lot of Brookshire's in West Monroe around 2 o'clock this afternoon.
At one point it was believed that salsberry was headed to Arkansas
But this afternoon, law enforcement said that he was involved in a shoot-out with an off-duty Webster Parish sheriff's deputy -- no one was injured -- but Salsbury reportedly stole another vehicle.
This time it was a Nissan X-Terra - white with a black rack.
The possible Louisiana license plate number is SBX-583.
It's not known exactly where he is headed now so everyone should be on alert.
