A Monroe woman is behind bars tonight after allegedly shooting a man she believed owed her money. 36-year-old Shondolyn Blevins has been booked on one count of attempted murder. Deputies say around 3:30 this morning Blevins went to a house on Short Thomas Street where she demanded money from 50-year-old Steven Freeman. Blevins then allegedly shot Freeman in the hip with a revolver and then ran. Freeman was treated and released from a local hospital.
