Bastrop Mayoral Forum Tonight

BASTROP -- The City of Bastrop will hold a public forum tonight so residents can hear from the seven people running for Mayor.

The election is Saturday April 6.

The candidates are incumbent Mayor Betty Alford-Olive, Ricky Allen Anderson   
Henry Cotton, Troy L. Downs, Samuel M. Jackson, Arthur E. Jones  and James M. Murphy.

The public forum is scheduled for this evening at 6p in the Bastrop City Hall Courtroom located at 202 East Jefferson Avenue.

Early voting for the April 6 election begins Saturday, March 23 and goes until Saturday March 30.
