Newt Gingrich to Campaign in Ruston & Monroe Tuesday

By: John Walton
Updated: March 19, 2012
After spending last week in south Louisiana, Newt Gingrich is turning his attention to north Louisiana.

Gingrich will be the first to make an appearance in our area.  He'll attend a Ruston town hall meeting at Louisiana Tech's Student Center at 11 a.m. Later in the afternoon he'll be at The Atrium from 3:30 to 4:30.

On Wednesday, Newt Gingrich will hold a town hall meeting at Louisiana College in the Granberry Auditorium in Pineville.

Rick Santorum has plans to visit the area Friday. You can see him at the Ouachita Parish Rifle Range at 9:30 a.m.

The Louisiana Primary is this Saturday. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. 46 delegates are up for grabs on Saturday night.

How is a vote for Newt anything BUT a vote for Newt and a vote for America? If we want to talk about taking one for the team, then we need to look at hard delegates aka committed delegates not the #s MSM shares - which include uncommitted voters. Check that out for yourself to see. It is not only his ego keeping him in, it is also his supporters begging him NOT to get out. I'm not going to pretend to read Santorum's mind because I can't, and you can't read Newt's mind. You need to separate facts and fiction, and face reality, Newt has no intention of stepping down, so if it is all about taking one for the team (which I'm not all about by the way) then perhaps Santorum should do that. Again, I"m not about taking one for the team, I believe it needs to play out so ALL Americans can have their say this time. We are speaking loudly to the GOP elitists and MSM and maybe they will understand we are fed up with MSM lies and propaganda as well as the GOP elites.

A vote for Newt is a vote for Romney and a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama. If Newt were a true conservative he would step aside and "take one for the 'conservative' team." Only his ego is keeping him in, when he has statistically no chance of winning; he's just helping moderate Mitt win by staying in. Gingrich Big Government & Global Internationalist: Gingrich has a history of Big Government & as a Global Internationalist. He helped Bill Clinton and the Democrats in Congress pass the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA Gingrich helped President Jimmy Carter%u2019s Dept of Edu (1979). His Congress increased education $3.5 billion (1996) the largest single increase in history.
