GSU 2013 Spring Honors Convocation

Grambling State University held its annual honors convocation in the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center on Tuesday morning, recognizing more than 1,200 students who achieved grade point averages of 3.0 and higher.


Steve Perry, principal of Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford, Conn., told the honors students, "You have an obligation to take the information given to you and do something with it ...You are Grambling. That means a something to a lot of people, people you'll never meet."


Perry is a CNN and MSNBC contributor and host of TV One's "Save My Son."
